Altar Guild
Join our dedicated volunteers, whose ministry is to care for the altar vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish.
Community of Hope
COH is a lay ministry providing pastoral care for people both inside and outside the congregation. We are called to be a listening presence and are available to bring Holy Communion, make visits, or simply be a friendly voice on the phone.
Daughters of the King
Join this sisterhood of women as they extend Christ’s kingdom by prayer, service, and evangelism.
Family Promise
Three times a year, volunteer to provide, prepare, and have dinner with the homeless families for one night during the weeklong stay on campus. Help with setting up and breaking down beds is also much appreciated.
I-HELP (Homeless Emergency Lodging Program)
We are looking for volunteers to help provide a Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast two weekends per month to our guests. We provide shelter, showers, meals and a listening ear. While meals are important, we also see and recognize our guests as our brothers and sisters as we are called to do. Won’t you please help us to see and recognize people who are often-times invisible in society by breaking bread and be a listening presence.
Donations of meals, bedsheets, towels, underwear, and shower products are always welcome. Contact Michael Ketcham at
or 602-768-9623.
Provide a meal - Please call the church office to signup.
Music Ministry
St. Peter’s Music Ministry leads the congregation in song at our weekly services using songs from the variety of Episcopal Hymnals in the church and current contemporary songs by leading Christian artists. Music Director Mary Bennett and Cantor/Choir Director Diane Woodyard along with choir and praise band members tailor the music to lend to the different services we have each week.
The Praise Band leads our 5pm Saturday night service with current contemporary songs and classic hits. Please contact Mary Bennett at for more information.
The Chancel Choir leads the music for the 9:30 service on Sunday mornings. We also meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 for rehearsal. Please contact Diane Woodyard at or 623-206-9375 for more information.
Our contemplative service at 11:00 is led by a small group with a more meditative sound.
The Children’s Choir is led by both Mary and Diane and welcome children of all ages to join. Anyone is welcome to join this ministry. Reading music is not a requirement. Please contact Mary or Diane for more information and to answer any questions you might have.
