Preschool - 6th Grade
At St. Peter’s, children are valued as full participating members of the Body of Christ who are invited to join in the worship and fellowship of the larger church. Our children also have the opportunity to participate in Sunday morning Bible study, service projects, special seasonal programs, and fellowship events. We offer materials for at-home worship and family devotions for Lent and Advent.
Sunday morning Bible Study
Our children’s Bible study meets weekly during the Sunday 10:00am family service. Currently, all ages meet in one group – outdoors when weather and activities permit. Each month we have a theme, based on a central Bible story, that we explore through engaging workshops – including art, cooking, drama, games, science, storytelling, and videos. Focusing on one story for several weeks helps the children to experience the story at a deeper level; approaching the story through different types of activities honors the unique personality and interests of each child.
